  WELCOME TO Airborne Aces!

Our Mission:

Airborne Aces Flying Tigers Gymnastics offers children and adults the opportunity to enjoy gymnastics and tumbling on a competitive, non-competitive and special needs basis.

History:
Airborne Aces Gymnastics was created in the summer of 1997 as an alternative to standard gymnastics programs. Since then, we have grown from a humble program offering only a few basic tumbling classes, to a full developmental program for children and adults.  We offer  beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Choices include recreational, competitive team and special needs.

How we got our name...
Although Airborne Aces is a gymnastics facility, the name was created in honor of Flight Officer Joseph Baczuk (Coach Michael Baczuk's father) who was a glider pilot with the 435th Troop Carrier Command during WW2.  During WW2 there were only a little over 5000 total glider pilots.  Glider regiments participated in every major airborne operation of the war.  Gliders could carry a jeep, light artillery, or up to 13 troops (with combat gear).  Once the glider pilots had fulfilled their mission of landing their men or materials, they would regroup and fight back to the allied lines as infantry soldiers.  Although Joseph Baczuk had nothing to do with gymnastics, the name is meant to remember the glider pilots and all those who sacrificed to preserve our American Freedoms.

Make Up Classes:
Make up classes are designed for  the convenience of parents and schedules of the participating students.  Because Airborne Aces does not operate on a 4 or 8 week session, there are no special make up days.  Instead if a class is missed for any reason, simply call the gym at least 24 hours prior to the desired make up class.
